About Us

The Sabah Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah Foundation was established in 1976 at the initiative of the late His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah as a non-profit institution dedicated to supporting education, scientific research, and academically distinguished students. Its establishment was guided by His Highness’s vision that knowledge and investment in human capital are fundamental pillars of societal progress and development.

The Foundation continues to uphold the principles established by its founder through its commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting the development of human potential and capabilities. In doing so, it seeks to reinforce the role of knowledge as a foundation for sustainable development and contribute to preparing future generations to participate meaningfully in the advancement and prosperity of society.
